ABOUT ME

I am a Philadelphian by birth, a Wolverine (Michigan) and Quaker (Penn) by degree, and a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Guyana) by the grace of good fortune.

Currently I am a physician-researcher based at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. I practice Psychiatry at MGH and MIT Medical's student mental health clinic.

I  co-founded JANYS analytics, a social media analytics firm and Orpheuspledge.org, a non-profit program to help people reduce their use of technology and social media.

​

I now am ensconced in the Boston ecosystem with my wife and two sons, hoping to make it through at least one more winter.
